3rd Virtual Round Table Conference


Pio will be attending the  3rd Virtual Round Table conference. This is a 2-day conference which takes place completely online on Friday and Saturday, 8 - 9 October 2010 and is a conference dedicated to language learning with technology in Second Life.

Pio is thrilled that many of those names are so familiar and deared to her like Vance, Jenny, Graham, Antoella, and Gwen.

What an excellent group of experts! The conference organizers, Heike, Shelly and Berni  have a big goal, namely to conquer the ultimate challenge of all live online sessions and to conduct an organised, fun and fast-paced Pecha Kucha night!

The organizer also have another goal, namely to raise 3,000 € in sponsorship money for their teacher training grant. The current balance stands at 425 € and if you can donate goods and services for our auction or if you dig deep into your pockets and donate 2 or 3 € by hitting the PayPal donate button, it all counts and every single sponsor will be mentioned by name.


Well, all this look great so Pio will be looking forward to this very promising 3rd Virtual Round Table conference and hope to see her educator friends on-line.

The VWBPE Conference is a completely virtual conference that is conducted using simulated environments.
