EFL Professor in SL

Well, it's been a while since Pio has been exploring in SL, the realm of real life has been too demanding on her. But, that's over... *giggles*... for a while.. She came back atracted by the lights, colors and music of a celebration... 10 years have passed since SL started to exist and marvel the world. She didn't come alone.. she brought her students with her... It's always fun t go on a field trip... It was just wonderful to see a bunch of newbies bumping into walls and walking around wearing a box... *laughs*... But the most existing was to see how they felt in class.. engaged, motivated and inspired... Pio wishes she had more time to bring them more often to have fun and learn in SL. Sitting on the ground .. waiting to get started..  Happy Birthday SL! At the Avatar center getting sparkles!!! Edith Paillat [Cyber Placebo] -- Virtual Language Resource Centre for French FL The Virtual Language Resource Centre for French FL seeks to provide language resources for independent learning as well learning with the help of a tutor. With this platform I wish to offer a relaxed meeting point where students can come on their own, as a group to work on resources and/or, more formally with a tutor. The Centre offers French related Landmarks and objects with notecards with links to online resources and suggestions of activities. The scope of this project can be extended to building a broader language Resource Centre for other languages. Language. At a later stage a central reception area with teleporter could then be added for access possibly a holodeck rezzing rooms with specific language and cultural elements. Continuing with Pionia's Educators friends in SL. She's really proud to introduce one of her dearest friends in the virtual worlds. Cyber Placebo .
