Transmedia Storytelling: Telling Stories to Amplify Language Learning in the Digital Era

VenezuelaTeachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (VenTESOL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 aimed at English Teachers in Venezuela, whose mission is to developed expertise in English teaching and learning. Its main objectives are to: promote the ELT issues studies, strengthen the English language teaching and learning at all educational levels in Venezuela, promote and spread research works in the ELT area, and work collaboratively with other teacher organizations with the same interests.

During the past 38 years, VenTESOL has focused on fulfilling its mission in spite of the ongoing sociopolitical crisis in Venezuela. Since its foundation year, VenTESOL has held over 150 Regional conventions and 35 National Conventions.

Currently, VenTESOL is an affiliate of TESOL International Association and IATEFL
